Zeke’s definitely not your ordinary 14 year old. He’s a creative and talented artist with a big brain; He lives smack dab in the middle of a wacky family; AND he has this awesome little electronic drawing pad that is totally – mysteriously – WIRED.
The pad is the ultimate electronic accessory, it’s a mobile phone, PDA, GPS, iPod and drawing tablet all rolled into one. Only Zeke’s pad has a unique glitch – whatever Zeke draws comes to life.
Zeke is constantly getting brain waves. And as master of his universe, he draws them all. Zeke is the only one who can make the Pad work. Still, that doesn’t stop his sister and his friends from trying to get Zeke to sketch up a perfect life for them. And when he does they are totally grateful… until it all goes haywire of course.
Things just never turn out the way Zeke had imagined. Somehow they all go wrong, in the most hilarious of ways.
Zeke hangs out mostly with his skateboard and nerdy friend Jay. Jay’s the only one who shares Zeke’s secret of the pad. He also likes to hang out with Maxine – the girl next door, but he can’t quite get it together.
Teenage angst. Sibling rivalry. Midlife crisis. Zeke’s life is never simple. Pandemonium rules.
Zeke’s Pad was the winner of the 2009 Alana award for Best Animation in a TV series.
