Flying Bark Productions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Eric Vesbit as Vice President of Production for its Los Angeles studio. With a rich background spanning over two decades in the animation industry, Eric brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company.

A native of Michigan, Vesbit has been a fixture in the Los Angeles animation scene since 1995, having worked with renowned studios such as Marvel, Sony, Universal, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, and Netflix. His impressive portfolio includes iconic shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Spectacular Spiderman.

Flying Bark has produced a number of award-winning animated projects for global partners in recent years, including Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (Disney TV Animation), What If…? (Marvel), and Monkie Kid (LEGO). The Los Angeles and Sydney teams are currently collaborating with Netflix on the development of a Stranger Things animated adaptation.

The company will be releasing its Australian, independent feature film 200% Wolf later in 2024 and recently announced the launch of production on an adaptation of Shaun Tan’s Tales from Outer Suburbia, commissioned by the ABC in co-production with Shaun Tan, Sophie Byrne of Highly Spirited Productions, and Siamese. Vesbit's appointment further strengthens Flying Bark’s position as a leading player in the global family entertainment industry.
